Margaret K. Kulpa, Kent A. Johnson

"Interpreting the CMMI: A Process Improvement Approach, Second Edition"

She is a recognized expert in managing off-
shore software development.
Kulpa has developed and taught courses in software quality assurance, project
management, peer reviews, requirements development and management, process
baselines and modeling, safety and security, and other software engineering-related
subjects. She has developed courses in the Staged and Continuous representation of
the CMMI, and has served as an external member on SCAMPISM Appraisals (the
latest SEI appraisal method). She is the primary author of Interpreting the CMMI:
A Process Improvement Approach (Auerbach, 2003). She has been a reviewer and editor
for the Institute for Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) magazine and
enjoys acting as a featured speaker at conferences.
