"Interpreting the CMMI: A Process Improvement Approach, Second Edition"

If minor updates are made to the plan, signatures do not have to be obtained
again except when one or more elements of the appraisal input have been changed.

The SCAMPI A Approach n 303
to match your expectations for a level rating or to cover for any inadequacies in the
process improvement approach taken.
Another important aspect of this process is developing the schedule. Because
the SCAMPI A is time intensive, a rigid schedule must be followed. This schedule
information is included as part of the Appraisal Plan. The information in the
schedule includes date and time of the appraisal, individuals involved, and other
logistics.
To maximize the team??™s time, the process areas of major concern will be clearly
identified and prioritized. The format for the outputs of the appraisal will be finalized
to match the goals of the appraisal (not to ensure that a specific-level rating is
achieved) and to help ensure that the outputs and results of the appraisal are used
for further process improvement or other organizational objectives.
