"Interpreting the CMMI: A Process Improvement Approach, Second Edition"

??? A presentation could be a project manager??™s presentation on how he
uses measures within the ABC project. An example of a demonstration could be
showing how to use the online Process Asset Library to define new projects.
Presentations are used in our appraisals to increase the effi ciency of the
appraisal. Presentations allow organizational personnel to explain their processes.
These presentations are limited to no more than 15??“30 minutes to keep the presenters
focused on important information. Presentations can be at the organizational
level or the project level.
The briefing at the organizational level should consist of:
What the organization does
The organizational structure
How responsibility, accountability, and authority are managed
What problems were overcome during the process improvement initiative
The organization should be defined by showing and discussing an organizational
chart that shows where the projects that were selected for the appraisal reside
in the organization and where those projects not selected reside.
