Each focus project should deliver a briefing about the project. This briefing
should include:
A short description of the project, key product(s), and customer description
Critical Success Factors??”Key parameters to success, such as schedule, customer
satisfaction survey, defect removal rate
Project team membership and roles
Project communications (team meetings, status reports, and frequency)
Approach to planning and estimating
Approach used to run the project (monitoring and controlling)
Overview of methodology and/or life cycle used
Tailoring decisions made and why (what makes your project special)
Measurements collected and used
For high maturity appraisals, that is, Capability or Maturity Levels 4 and 5,
you might also include the:
