For a goal to be rated as Unsatis?¬?ed, the team must be able to describe how the set

When using the staged representation, if the Determine Satisfaction of Process
Areas option was selected during appraisal planning, then the Appraisal Team rates
the satisfaction of each PA in the scope of the appraisal based on the ratings of the
specific and generic goals within each PA. This step is done according the rules
shown in Table 21.9.
When using the continuous representation, if the Determine Process Area
Capability Level rating option was selected during appraisal planning, then the
Appraisal Team rates the capability level of each PA in the scope of the appraisal
based on the ratings of the specific and generic goals within each PA.
