"Interpreting the CMMI: A Process Improvement Approach, Second Edition"

The Appraisal Record includes just about
everything from the appraisal: the Appraisal Input, Appraisal Plan, the objective
evidence, the instantiation-level practice characterizations, the organizational unit??“
level characterizations, the Final Findings, and the ADS. Your Appraisal Sponsor
agrees to maintain the Appraisal Record through the expiration of the appraisal to
allow the SEI (also known as the CMMI Steward) to audit the appraisal should
they decide that an audit is necessary (see Table 21.14).
The Appraisal Data Package is forwarded to the SEI (CMMI Steward) for
record keeping and statistical purposes to track trends of process implementation
and efforts worldwide. The Appraisal Data Package is a subset of the Appraisal
320 n Interpreting the CMMI
Record. The Appraisal Data Package includes the approved Appraisal Input, the
approved Appraisal Plan, the approved ADS, and the Final Findings.
Summary
The SCAMPI A is a Class A appraisal technique used to measure satisfaction of the
