Don??™t forget that the PIIDs for the generic practices also must be completed for
each process area for each project. Although the PIID format remains the same, the
information listed in the PIID will change to reflect the implementation for each
process area.
Do not put every artifact you have in the PIID! We usually ask for the most
recent example or the last three instances that show usage (such as updates or meeting
minutes). In some PIIDs, there is a long list of artifacts that can be input to the
form. We suggest that you use your brain when selecting what to put in. For example,
ask yourself, ???What is the purpose of this practice???? If it is to track changes,
perhaps you would like to show evidence of a change that has actually been tracked
throughout the life cycle. Just don??™t fill in the PIID with junk. You will be judged
not ready for the SCAMPI to continue.
