Those Damn PIIDs! n 327
It means that there is information that is used both at the organizational level
and at the project level on a particular project. You may be using organizationallevel
documentation that relates to the Organization??™s Set of Standard Processes
(OSSP) and also using information that relates to project-specific documentation.
For example, you may be using a Configuration Management process for managing
changes to a document that works for both an organizational document (like a strategic,
overall project plan) and a project document (like a project tactical plan).
However, sometimes organizational-level PIIDs are truly organizational. One
example is Organizational Process Focus. This PA usually does not contain projectspecific
references, as this PA pertains mostly to the EPG or the people who have
managed the process improvement effort.
