10. CMMI leads to consistent appraisal results and ratings.
The SCAMPI method using the CMMI has the same problems as the previous
assessment methods using the CMM??”that is, the makeup of the team
members and their individual experiences will flavor their interpretations of
the model, and their interpretations of the implementation of the model in
the assessed organization. As discussed previously, SCAMPI teams are having
trouble interpreting the practices. They refer to the explanations in the
practices in the model and come up lacking enough explanatory information.
