events or simply illustrating promotion and demotion of a service during its life span. The single
workflow style would also enable focus on the influence of modeling and nonmodeling disciplines
on a service evolution. Tracing discipline activities and their correlation to a service??™s progression

Exhibit 3.4 illustrates the treasury bond service redesign and re-architecture activities that
take place during the design-time season at the same time it operates in production during the
run-time season.
Multiple Workflows Style. More than one service can be depicted in the workflow section
of the service life cycle framework. The multiple workflows style enables one to plan parallel
implementations of two or more services that share the same timeline.
