requirements by breaking them down into manageable entities. This can lead to a better understanding
of the organization??™s concerns (separation of concerns analysis is a recognized practice
of software development life cycles) and the reasons that led to current enterprise problems.
SERVICE-ORIENTED CONCEPTUALIZATION MODEL
The service-oriented conceptualization model is made up of five major components, each of
which contributes to the foundation of conceptual services and the establishment of business and
technology organizational taxonomy (see Exhibit P.2).
??? Attribution. Attribution is the process of characterizing a business solution proposition
in terms of features, quality, and properties.
??? Identification. The identification activity enables the discovery of conceptual services.
??? Classification. Classifying the discovered conceptual services yield organizational taxonomy.
??? Association. The association process reveals relationship between conceptual services.
??? Formation. This model component facilitates the formation of conceptual services structures.
