TECHNICAL PROFILING. The technical profiling process should be centered on a service??™s
technological capabilities and its capacity to support the business. Remember, this activity is
about a service??™s technical identity, not about its business functionalities. To assist with the
establishment of a service??™s technical record, provide a questionnaire that contains the following
guiding questions:
??? What is the service??™s consumption and reusability rate?
??? Does it comply with the SLA??™s technical aspects?
??? Does the technical service operate in secure environments?
??? Does it depend on other entities, and are they loosely coupled?
??? Are they interoperable?
For services that operate in production environments, some of the answers may be known,
based on their track record and performance history.
