"Service-Oriented Modeling (SOA): Service Analysis, Design, and Architecture"

For new services that are still in their conceptual stage, ask the following questions:
??? Will this service be capable of accommodating high-volume transactions?
??? Can this service provide offerings to large consumer groups? What is its initial granularity
assessment?
??? What would be its anticipated reusability factor?
Exhibit 6.7 depicts the analysis service technical profiling model. Reusability, consumption,
SLA, granularity, security, and ROI should be major considerations throughout this process.
DELIVERABLES
The time has come to communicate the service analysis typing and profiling artifacts to the
organization. What should the delivery model include? How is it possible to simplify and make
concise the analysis material that has been gathered? The typing process should be straightforward

and should furnish two layers of information: First, provide the analysis of service definitions
instituted in identifications (service types). Remember, there are three major characterization
criteria: source, structure, and service context (discussed in the section on service-oriented typing).
