This hierarchical arrangement is analogous to a granularity
matrix that can assist in evaluating service reusability and in facilitating service consumption
planning (discussed in Chapter 7). This process must continue now. But the granularity considerations
are focused on efficient message routing, creating familiar generalization patterns that
can enhance the collaboration between services and their corresponding consumers. The levels of
execution are also a unique attribute of a hierarchical service formation. It creates opportunities to
arrange processes based on their strategic contribution. This approach recognizes that the siblings
that are located on the lower levels are not only more granular, but also provide tactical solution
implementations.
