"Service-Oriented Modeling (SOA): Service Analysis, Design, and Architecture"

Along
with identifying technological abstractions of a given solution, practitioners are also commissioned
to contribute to the organizational taxonomy to help in establishing an enterprise-wide common
communication language. This dictionary of technological terms is in essence a vocabulary of a
universal language that is unique to an organization. Finally, the conceptual architecture discipline
enables the modeling of conceptual solutions and provides direction for future service-oriented

SERVICE-ORIENTED LOGICAL ARCHITECTURE MODELING
The service-oriented logical architecture discipline is chiefly concerned with asset reuse, utilization,
and consumption. In addition, this discipline focuses on the three major functional aspects
of a logical architecture: (1) the relationship between deployed packaged software assets, (2) the
structural concerns of packaged service-oriented entities, and (3) the behavior and collaboration3
of packaged solutions.
