"Service-Oriented Modeling (SOA): Service Analysis, Design, and Architecture"

This idea is illustrated in Exhibit 16.5. Note the three distinguishable
sections that make up the logical architecture asset utilization diagram template in the example.

EXHIBIT 16.6 LOGICAL ARCHITECTURE ASSETS
LOGICAL ARCHITECTURE NOTATION. There are two major architecture artifacts that illustrate
the logical composition of deliverables: the asset utilization diagram discussed in the previous
section and the transaction directory diagram, which is discussed in the forthcoming behavioral
perspective section. These artifacts describing a service-oriented technological ecosystem employ
two distinct symbols, illustrated in Exhibit 16.6:
??? Packaged technological asset icon. The packaged technological asset symbol that illustrates
a deployable packaged solution is also used in the service-oriented conceptual architecture
phase (Chapter 15). It denotes logical composition structures, such as autonomous
services, composite services, and service clusters.
